This statement discloses the privacy practices for Industry Access Incorporated, and all affiliated web sites in the Industry Access Incorporated network of websites.
Use of Data
All information collected through user registration is simply used to permit you and/or your company to communicate with other participants in the network. We do not sell or distribute that information to any third party. Highly sensitive information that pertain to a loan application, and supporting documentation such as credit reports, appraisals, VODs and VOEs are securely transmitted to our servers, securely stored, and shared only by other network participants that are required to have the information to consummate the funding transaction.
Use of Your Email Address
One of the biggest annoyances in the modern world is SPAM e-mail. We dislike it too, and do not permit the participants of the Industry Access Incorporated websites to SPAM e-mail each other to promote their own businesses. We do not sell, rent, or share any e-mail addresses with any other party. However, we, as a communications portal for the wholesale mortgage industry, do allow participants in the network to send e-mails to each other. Nevertheless, each participant's web site administrator can control which other participants have your e-mail address. Industry Access Incorporated may send broadcast emails to its users regarding information pertaining to the use of the service.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or share any user information that we collect from the registration process. By contract, third parties must comply with their own privacy policies with regard to the renting, selling, or sharing of information. As partners of Industry Access Incorporated, they must also offer Industry Access Incorporated users the chance to opt out of information sharing.
Information Security
All information gathered on Industry Access Incorporated web sites is stored and maintained in secure facilities that limit access to authorized personnel only. This personnel can only access the information through a series of access-control procedures. All Industry Access Incorporated employees are briefed about the company's privacy and security policies on a regular basis. How we respond to browser "Do Not Track" requests.
Industry Access Incorporated and other parties not affiliated with us may collect Personally Identifiable Information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our website or the services offered on our website. Industry standards regarding how to handle “Do Not Track”; requests from web browsers are still evolving and there is currently no set of industry standards for handling such requests. As such we may not separately respond to or take any action with respect to a “do not track”; configuration set in your internet browser. At this time, we do not have any protocol in place that allows you to opt-out of internet tracking. You may reset your web browser to disable do not track signals if your web browser supports such functionality.

How does encryption work?
Everything that travels through the Internet during your online user session - from your password to your instructions to your social security number- becomes a string of unrecognizable numbers before entering the Internet. Both Industry Access Incorporated's computers and the browser you use to surf the Web understand the mathematical formulas, called algorithms, that turn you web site session into numeric code and back again into meaningful information.
These algorithms serve as locks on the doors of your account information. And while Industry Access Incorporated and your computer can easily translate this code back to meaningful language, this process would be a daunting, almost impossible task for unauthorized intruders. That's because there are billions of possible keys that could potentially solve each formula - but only one that will work. Every time you begin an online user session, your computer and Industry Access Incorporated systems agree on a random number that serves as the key for the rest of the conversation. What that random number is depends largely on the strength of encryption used by your browser.
The main difference is that 128-bit encryption provides a significantly greater amount of cryptographic protection than 40-bit encryption. With the increasing computing power of potential criminals, it is becoming more necessary to employ larger keys, as evidenced by a recent study by several leading cryptographers.
In terms of what the numbers represent, "128" and "40" bit encryption refer to the size of the key used to encrypt the message. Roughly speaking, 128-bit encryption is 309,485,009,821,345,068,724,781,056 times stronger than 40-bit encryption. Presently, 40-bit encryption is not considered "strong" security in the cryptographic community.
Note: Currently, browsers that offer 128-bit encryption can only be used by citizens and permanent residents of the United States and citizens of Canada, and can only be downloaded to locations in the United States or Canada.
